A friend of mine was just telling me about her new boyfriend: good-looking guy, good job, decent chemistry, but after four weeks of dating he has yet to make a move. She is ready to make this a physical thing but at the same time doesn't want to seem pushy or in her words 'like a whore'.
The opinions of my friends varied from saying that he was a fag or was scared of pussy all the way to "he is a keeper!". My personal take on things has nothing to do with the quality of this man as a person but more to the point that he needs a little lesson in how to play the game.
No woman has ever terminated a relationship with a man because he tried to make a move too early. In fact it is expected behavior and as long as you can accept 'no' as an answer with a good attitude, it isn't likely to cause any problems at all.
However, waiting too long to initiate a physical event can result in a loss of interest from the woman and as in this case, a seed of doubt can be sown by inaction that leaves a woman wondering if you want her in that way at all.
How long to should a man or woman wait in a relationship before trying to get sex?
