The two teams were actually quite evenly matched.
This resulted in a 0-0 score at the end of the two periods.
Then Germany scored a lucky goal in the overtime period.

However, looking at stats such as control of the ball, successful passes and scoring attempts, Germany was the slightly better team.

I can't forget the faces expressions that messi was made during the match and after..
during the match I can see he's on very heavy burden and lot of stress from pressures..
after the match and after the 2nd place ceremony, he's look holding back off his tears, but more relieved than before the final whistle..
