Tech Discussion PC Game Cause System Shutdown (Help!)

I have a computer that is old but works good. The problem is I have 2 games that make the computer shut down. It has Windows Xp and one of the games is Return to Ravenhearst 2. WHAT IS THE DEAL!!! SO ANNOYED!!! AND YES I AM COMPUTER RETARDED!

Okay Lissa, you need to post a little more info for the guys to help you.

Be me more specific about what kind of computer you are using.

How much memory (RAM) does it have?

Are you running the games from the hard drive or CD-ROM/DVD-ROM?

Does it happen at a particular point or erratically?

And finally I will edit the title you've chosen. A more problem-specific title will garner more attention from the techies . . .

And now its just shutting off when Im doing anything. i was deleting files earlier. shutdown. i was listening to music yesterday. shutdown. ugh!!!!

hmmm... that was kind of cute. not the monitor... the computer.

to be perfectly honest, the usual culprit of computers shutting themselves down is heat related.
