So what was actually said?

I have to say though, some of those insults were pretty damn funny
The Associated Press Wrote:SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — After bombarding South Korea’s female president with sexist invectives, North Korea’s state news agency has fired off racist insults against President Barack Obama that U.S. officials condemn as “disgusting.”
So what was actually said?
The Associated Press Wrote:In a lengthy May 2 dispatch released only in Korean, Pyongyang’s Korean Central News Agency published comments from a factory worker who said Obama has the “shape of a monkey” and made many other crude insults.
“It would be better for him to live with other monkeys at a wild animal park in Africa … and licking bread crumbs thrown by onlookers,” worker Kang Hyok at Chollima Steel Complex was quoted as saying.
cnn.com Wrote:North Korea's state media KCNA described President Barack Obama using racial epithets and likened him to a "wicked black monkey."

"You can also tell this by his appearance and behavior, and while it may be because he is a crossbreed, one cannot help thinking the more one sees him that he has escaped from a monkey's body,"y/Hkg9800471.jpg[/img]
On Monday, KCNA released an article that featured comments from a spokesperson for North Korea's Foreign Ministry. In it, the unidentified spokesperson explained that the "resentment" expressed against Obama in the article was "a proper reaction to him who malignantly insulted and slandered the dignified DPRK during his junket to south Korea."
Referring to comments apparently made by Obama during his recent trip to Asia, the article said, "This is an unpardonable insult to the people of the DPRK who are leading a happy life under the benevolent socialist system and considering independence dearer than their life and their resentment at the U.S. is running high."
It's not a great excuse, and it ignores arguments that North Korea has a fundamentally “race-based” worldview, as historians such as B.R. Myers have contended. But it does seem to reflect a broader trend in North Korean media: a profound insecurity.
