    It's Official: July Was Hottest...
    Nine of the 10 hottest Julys on record have occurred since 2005....

    The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Thursday that July was the hottest month on record, with global temperatures averaging 62.13 degrees, which is 1.71 degrees above the 20th century average.

    This July bested July 2016 for the hottest month on record by .05 degrees. Records date to 1880.

    Actually, I didn;t think it was that bad... I had the A/C on some days but overall didn't think it was too significant of a month... Let's see what the electric bill says th0.

    Today is warm... 90-F (feels like 97-f (32 & 36-C respectively)

    The older I get the more I prefer heat over cold.

    With temperature averages floating around 100° F at midday, it has been horrendous.

    Not only that, this years we had military personnel literally dying in basic training because of a combination of the heat and hard-ass drill sergeants pushing men who clearly needed to rest and cool off. You know how the military guys are...there is no "I'm hot," or "I'm tired"...nobody gives any fucks in the military about that.
