    If it isn't in that section then it cannot be recovered.

    Yes. That is right. But I caught that and tried to look in the correct section. But it was to no avail. You know, some operations on this site (especially "Save" or "Update this post" operations) have been taking a crazy long time lately. (an accurate estimate might be 2 or 3 minutes).

    I have no idea what the problem is or where it resides. It could be net "lag" or a long time using some server or almost anything else. Anyway, whatever that problem may be, I'm just guessing that maybe it occurred again when I was trying to save my changes to that post and that was the cause of my losing the draft.

    Anyway, it was a lesson well learned.
