  • Homophobe?
    #11
    You are NOT alone here. Just because you sad Pitt is handsome it doesn't mean you are gay. It means you're open and freer with yourself. I have some friends of mine who are 169% straight but in light moments make amusing gay remarks for fun. If one refrains from being free and upbraides the people who don't, it only means he's insecure about HIS OWN sexuality. So, your friends are just insecure. I know straight guys who call themselves gay pornstars to irritate or gross people out but at the end of the day, they aren't gay.

    Homophobes are just insecure closetted people. They are often outed as gay. They are closetted and lying to themselves to such an extent they publicly despise gaymen but deep inside they know the bitter truth- They themselves are one of them.

    the catch-phrase 'homophobia' really needs to stop being used. the lgbt community likes label everyone who doesn't care about lgbt issues as a homophobe in order to limit their freedom of speech or to ruin their credibility so that their agenda can carry on with less resistance, much in the same fashion that anti-gun proponents have confused the issue with irrational logic and relentless bitching.

    To me people who are classed as a Homophobe are not just frightened of their own sexuality but they are ignorant about everyone else’s sexuality.

    Do they not realise that;

    Because you are a homosexual does not mean that you fancy every male on the planet.
    Because you are a lesbian does not mean that you fancy every female on the planet.
    Because you are heterosexual does not mean that you fancy every person of the opposite gender.
    As goes for bisexuals and any other sexual you want the principle is the same for my argument.

    I believe that Homophobe people can be disgusted by the physical act itself and I believe that the majority with this disgust are male. Deep down I wonder if they are unknown to themselves attracted to the same sex and it’s the mixture of upbringing and emotion that makes them speak out. That begs the question why do they speak out to draw attention upon themselves if they kept quiet no one would ever know.

    Personally I would say I couldn't care less if someone is gay or straight. Then people would ask what if it was one of your children.

    That is one question I wouldn't at this point in my life have an answer to.

    Didn't you mean to say "fancy every person of the opposite gender"? Huh

    I suspect that a major reason behind homophobia is that the bullies who engage in it are afraid that they might be homosexual or bisexual themselves.
    So they viciously strike out against others, in an attempt to deny that aspect of their personality.

    Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

    I actually agree 100% with this. Couldn't have said it better; LBGT is a corporation that needs to self sustain like the tobacco or big oil companies...or churches (or like you said anti-gun). ANYBODY pushing an agenda. What they spew in their "fight for justice" is just their way of grandstanding and saying "look I'll fight for the little guy, I'll fight for you" PETA is another good example.

    People in LBGT just want to be treated normally, like everybody else, with no labels at all. everyone has to make a big deal out of nothing to show that they "care" or they are "actively doing something" Mind you own business and get on with your own life.
