With all due respect to his Jerry-Lee-ness, a lot of people rocked harder than him. Hell, Bon Jovi rocked harder than Jerry Lee Lewis and he was like hair-soft-rock . . .

Nirvava is my favorite. The rolling stones rocked it tho. The best I think. Jagger is past his prime but he still does it. Gotta give it to Vedder too. Pearl did some awesome shows in their hayday.

Oh I ain't denying that he was awesome. I'm just saying that when I think of rock I think of it in it's adolescent and mature stages- not in it's infancy.

Creedance definitely rocked . . . in a softer, more country kind of way, but definitely a timeless band.
Floyd rocked, but in a trippy, relaxed way . . .

Creedence was the bomb. A hell of a lot better than Queen. Not trying to step on any toes but Queen should be burned with Journey and REO Speedwagon. Something about those bands makes my soul fill with hatred and disgust. I know I'm in the minority on that but so is the case with many who can see past the bull****. SHEEP.

I'll go along with Led Zeppelin, they're probably equal no. 1 for me... Pearl Jam are easy listening pussy rock...
I never really liked the Stones but I can appreciate them... the Stone Roses are pretty awesome though.
Creedence were a terrific band but I couldn't really classify them as rockers.
Totally overrated for me: REM, U2 (post-Joshua Tree) and more recently, fucking Coldplay *shudder*
