Thoroughly enjoyed it to the end. Very minimal dialogues.

    Roman J. Israel, Esq. (2017)

    Not your average feel-good movie.

If Denzel is involved in a motion picture then I am in. Even it turns out to be a lackluster affair like The Book of Eli, I never feel gipped when I watch one of his movies because just observing the end result of his process is entertaining in and of itself.

This particular film is a tangled up mess that reminded me somewhat of the vibe of the Ewan McGregor-led Eye of the Beholder. As a tormented savant, Roman J. Israel is a capable and dedicated attorney that makes more mistakes than good decisions. No spoilers here, but in the end, he won my heart, as Mr. Washington has done before.

Reminded me of many movies as I watched it. Nevertheless an entertaining movie.

    The Bucket List (2007)
Directed by Rob Reiner, starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

    Great watch.

    The Boss Baby (2017)

Quite a good movie. Enjoyed it.

    Finding Dory (2016)

Finally got to watch it. Very well done.

Not a movie, but One Strange Rock Documentary (series) from Darren Aronofsky is a wonderful watch.
    Narrated by Will Smith.
If you like Planet Earth kind of shows, you will like this.

    Independence Day : Resuergence (2017)

    Size matters !

    Wonder Woman
Felt repetitive and CGI could have been better.
Another movie that believes theres is 'good' in humans or something like that.

Also watched but lost interest midway.

    Some Kind of Beautiful (2014)

(AKA: How to make love like an Englishman)

This relatively lesser known movie was an very enjoyable watch.

The movie stars Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba and others.

The dialogues and Brosnan are the strengths of the movie.
The scenes with Brosnan and Malcolm McDowell, who plays his dad are memorable.

    The Emoji Movie (2017)

    Animation.

Story: Gene, a multi-expressional emoji, sets out on a journey to become a normal emoji.

I am surprised the movie has a very low rating on IMDb.
The plot and story are very creative. Am glad there are some good, nice reviews of the movie. Glad am not alone :-)

I saw this movie when I was a kid and remembered it as the most awesome movie of all time. Its funny how time can change things. Upon rewatching it, I found almost everything about the movie hokey and unnatural. Kiefer Sutherland is as unbelievable as a person can be as he sloppily attempts to portray a young, naive, hayseed ne'er-do-well. Emilio Estevez plays his part well at times, but Billy seems more like a mentally challenged person than a psycho— the distinction being that he doesn't seem driven by compulsion or evil cunning, but rather kills randomly like a child swinging a mallet.

I can't go any further without spoiling, but the entire revenge plot hinges on one of the most pitiful tragedy scenes I've ever seen in a movie.

    3/10

(and that's giving it a point for nostalgia)[/size]

    AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I feel the EXACT SAME WAY about the Young Gun movies... When they came out I considered them in my top 10 favorites... Now they are lame and I watch them for nostalgia. When it comes to westerns like that... nothing beats Tombstone.

Another movie I feel is the same way...Awesome in the beginning whe n it came out but stupid now, is a movie I revisited last week:

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089695/

PISS POOR acting and plot... Van Damme was scary as fuck as Ivan Krachensky... At the time I loved it.

I wonder what other things I lobe now that later I'll think is cheesy too?
