    My PC is too ancient to run that. I have Windows XP. I have VirtualDub, but it looks different(and I don't mean the GUI. The settings are not the same when I follow you through the tut. I'll just download your version. Thanks again for the hard work.

    virtualdubmod is ancient and primitive - but it has never let me down, so i'm sticking to it.
    not trying to call you names, but please confirm the difference in the settings is NOT in xvid.
