if you don't agree with my interpretation, that's fine, however:

the topic is art, not stormium /mod

one of my favorite artists is Piet Mondrian born in the Netherlands in 1872 ...this is a sort of time-line evolution of his work leading up to his famous abstract paintings of colored squares

This final piece, entitled Broadway Boogie Woogie, reflected not only the bustling sights and sounds of New York City, but also one last leap forward in his evolution as an artist.

As you can see, Mondrian completely emptied his canvas of any black lines, using instead squares of pure color to separate and delineate the larger blocks of white in the painting.

The image sequence you showed above is epitomic in the history of art to illustrate the passage from figurative to abstract and conceptual art

ok moving on to a new wave of pop icon cubism...another favorite of mine is a little known Olympia-born artist called tommervik [b.1978]

Cubism is the style of art that made Picasso famous, and is also the inspiration for a plethora of geometric pop-paintings from Tommervik...heres some of my favorites...i have a framed poster of the last image on my office/computer room wall...looks pretty cool

    Todays Subject...ART DECO STYLE

Art Deco is a design style that began in Paris in the 1920s and flourished internationally throughout the 1930s and into the World War II era. The style influenced all areas of design, including architecture and interior design, industrial design, fashion and jewelry, as well as the visual arts such as painting, graphic arts and film. The term "art deco" was coined in 1966, after an exhibition in Paris, 'Les Années 25' sub-titled Art Deco... anyways heres some cool looking art deco buildings'
