wherever you go to get braces or any dentist appointment, DO NOT GO TO CABRAMATTA SYDNEY DR PHILLIP LE! I am not even joking when I say I waited 2 and a half hours in the waiting room. They scammed me of my teeth cleaning voucher (I gave it to them and they later said they didn't get it ._____.)
first, when i went in (appointment was 11, went in at 1:30) the UNDERQUALIFIED UNI STUDENT ACTING AS DOCTOR was doing my teeth. FOR GOODNESS SAKE, i paid for a doctor. she was 'done' in 5 minutes. mate, you just poked my gums until they were sore and at the verge of bleeding and I pay you $200? unfair. My mother then exclaimed that I still had the same coloured elastics on (they are SUPPOSED to change them) and the bitchy receptions yelled at my mother! "You don't even know anything blah blah". my mother, being the good person she is, just stayed silent and copped it. meanwhile, as I have come out of the room, my sister went in. The bitchy receptionist went in to bitch about my mother loudly to the dentist, in front of my younger sister in cantonese. Have some face bitch, you just scammed us of time and money, and you're breaking the law by using undergraduates as doctors. be happy we aren't reporting you. how are you swear in front of a 10 year old. The dentist later also started bitching about us. so much embarrassment! These asian idiots cannot shut up. you're in a "clinic", how dare you explode with a bomb of swears in front of children. The dentist working on my sister was a CHILDREN'S dentist. WOW just WOW.

before you readers tell me to "just leave' please understand the following. We already paid them $6000 to do my braces, and as shown before, they are scamming cheap assholes who yell at a customer, and so we cannot get this sum of money back.

oh and btw, when my sister came out, the 'dentist' told my mother my sister should have braces. My mother told the dentist that she was planning to in 6 months, because you know, $6000 is a lot, especially when they're scamming you, plus, my sister is 10, she personally wants to get it a bit later, and her teeth are in no emergency or anything. That children's dentist then yelled at my mother and called her "a bad mother" . Here is the quote "aiiya is it even possible to have this kind of mum? what kind of mum are you? she needs braces and you should hurry up and do an appointment now" OKAY JUST UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOT AN EMERGENCY AND THAT SHE DOES NOT WANT IT NOW
FOR GOODNESS SAKE YOU PIECE OF SHIT. DONT TELL MY SISTER MY MOTHER SHOULD GO "FAK" YOU FUCK YOURSELF. HOW DARE YOU HOW DARE YOU YELL AT MY MOTHER WHEN SHE IS RIGHT. THERE ARE WITNESSES. SOME WHO EVEN CAME TO COMFORT MY MOTHER AS THEY SAW IT UNFOLD. SHAME ON YOU 'DR' PHILLIP LE

Dentists are like a regular doctor or surgeon. Great care must be taken when selecting one. Sounds like the same experience I had at a corporation called Aspen Dental. They kid rookies right out of school. For christs sake I was getting my teeth cleaned and the other doctors were openly chatting about an experience they had with another patient. She was like "ya, I was shaking him and he still didn't wake up, so all that I thought to do was call 911"... Nice to hear.

My brother in law complained of tooth pain, so they drilled the wrong tooth. They drilled through a cap instead of the one in pain next to it.

George Carlin use to say about doctors (or something to this affect): Somewhere in the world the worst doctor is opening his practice, and people are going to see him...

I know it's hard finding trustworthy people,though

Am hoping to see my dentist next week. Had my regular doc refer him and I made enquiries with locals who all gave him a thumbs up. Hope he doesn't pull out the wrong tooth! Agree about docs in general. One I went to see a year back for another problem was casually emailing about a position for professorship/lecturer (paid) at some university, while attending to me. Similar experience with an eye doc and another "testing lab". "Open chatting
" as LZA says is so annoying.

So whats the normal waiting time when your in pain? If it's really bad pain and rather than you sit in a waiting room crying and moaning they will (admittedly you would have to kick up a fuss) if you shout long enough either fill it or whip it out same day.

When I'm in pain I just call my dentist. He tells me to come down and he'll fit me in somewhere. He's a younger guy with state of the are equipment. He charges an arm and a leg but he's a cool guy.
