bio printing and the future of culinary delight
so, you've all been hearing about it:

3d printers can fabricate replacement organs.

3d printers can fabricate consumable goods.

you wouldn't download a car, would you?

well, i've been thinking about this ever since i saw the movie, 'anti-viral' and while i'm not too into celebrity worshiping, i can gladly say this: if those printers could print me out a piece of olivia munn for consumption purposes... i'd gladly invest quite a bit.

olivia munn is much to precious a person and resource to actually eat, but a 3d printed slab of lovely awesomeness? a little olivia rump roast perhaps? count me in!

so in the rapidly approaching future, who would you like to eat?

(i've already thought about the sexual possibilities. that's discussion better left for in 'lifestyle' forum.)

I prefer real food.

I find the idea of attempting to producing imitation food items by feeding protein (probably tofu) through a 3D printer to be revolting.
I suspect it would also be a likely way to spread food poisoning bacteria.

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

That idea reminds me of a crude example of the food replicators they have in Star Trek. If I had the opportunity to get whatever I wanted, I sample a bunch of different stuff made by famous chefs.
