YouTube Alternative??
Hi guys,

just thought i'd post this question here as i'm unsure exactly what category it falls under.
Anyway!,
I've had Tut's removed from YouTube due to copyright infringement Smile, the latest one being Rosetta Stone install with "crack".
Just wondering if anyone has any alternative suggestion to YouTube for hosting videos where their not so anal about the content.

Thanks in advance,

RE: YouTube Alternative??
I posted a similar Q on SB some time ago and it was suggested that i create atorrent/torrentsof the Tut's and upload them to e.g. TPB. Although, a good suggestion, i think it would reduce dramatically the amount of people who could access them.

RE: YouTube Alternative??
I've actually NEVER put a torrent together. I usually start off with the best of intentions. Read up on the process. Get everything ready. And then find something else to do. Smile
I don't know what the resistance is to making one??

RE: YouTube Alternative??
lol very easy, depends if you are going to make it private or a public torrent, public is easier but seeders will soon disapear, private people will hang onto the torrent for as long as possible

You should put a concise Tut together on the whole process. I've seen many and still can find them confusing. (It's the retard beast that comes out in me at times) Smile

RE: YouTube Alternative??
The alternatives to YouTube aren't much better:

You can make your own site and host the videos yourself, but then you are subject to direct legal persecution from copyright holders.

You can post to other video upload sites(Photobucket allows video and so do many other pic dump sites), but you'll probably face take-downs from copyright holders.

Alternatively, you can search for a host that is in a country without effective copyright law(Sweden, etc), but then you would have to pay for hosting . . .

Wildcard is awesome.
