What is a "Forum Troll"
The two of you seem to have so much in common, why can't you get along?

Funny, I was gonna ask you the very same question... It seems he likes poking at you. Did you hound him and make his posting life a miserable experience?? AHHAHAHHHHAHA

No, I am a civilized human being.
I would never let the dogs lose on the poor Irish white trash.

Why don't you just read through it again from the beginning?
Maybe you will learn something.

"OP is a fag" is an example of someone attempting to troll a thread. It is obvious and in no way subtle but it does tend to provoke responses from OP.

"OP is a fag" is probably the greatest troll to attempt when the thread is in The Pit because in serious conversations it is really hard to say
"OP is a fag" over and over in the post without problems.

"OP IS A FAG" is my least favorite of all the brainless types of trolling.

As @velvetfog mentioned, the more powerful troll is the subtle troll.

Wildcard's choice of example above leaves a lot to be desired.
It completely lacks subtlety.
It is also probably technically incorrect.
I would have chosen a different example, while also avoiding the use of big fonts.
Something like this:

The OP is likely to find his lost marbles long before he learns much from what we have been trying to teach him in this thread so far.
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
