    Tech Discussion: Luxury or necessity?
    #1
I read recently that Finland has ruled that Internet access is a basic human right. Whether you agree with that or not, Internet access is becoming available almost anywhere that you go these days. People are more involved with technology on a day to day basis than ever and most of it is driven by Internet powered hardware: Laptop/smart phone/e-book readers.
In fact some products are coming bundled with lifetime Internet access at no extra cost(see Kindle Fire). And I haven't used any but I'm hearing about some totally free ISP search engines.

Is the Internet that important? Or has it been blown out of proportion?
