Basic requirements for the course are outlined below:

    Quote:Requirements

Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age.
Applicants should have completed the Leaving Certificate. Basic knowledge of computer applications and the internet is a requirement for this programme.
Applicants must successfully complete the identified aptitude test for this Programme. Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable. or Candidates who have achieved certificates in all of the following: Web Page Design 2 - FETAC and City & Guilds Using the Internet 2 - FETAC and City & Guilds Microcomputer Systems Installation and Maintenance 2 - FETAC
Due to the technical complexity of the programme a fluency in English is required. Must be self motivated Possess Good Diagnostic Skills Analytical approach to problem solving and descision making is essential.
Applicants should have experience of using computers and be familiar with the use of basic computer packages.
An approved colour vision test will be a requirement for entry to this Traineeship because of tasks such as wiring. (The Ishihara Colour Vision Test/City University Test are the vision tests approved by FÁS. NOTE: Candidates must complete either CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+ certification prior to going on work placement. This Programme requires some home study. It is recommended that students spend at least one hour per night reviewing course material for that day and longer when preparing for examinations.

So what do you guys think. Would this be a good course to take up to gain some paper r.e. I.T., Computers etc.

What do you mean by "raw URL"?
I have this one in hardback, but the 5th edition. It was voted "The number 1 A+ exam guide." Lots of good stuff in there.
