What are some of your favourite war movies? Would you like to see any of them remade? Discussion welcome. Here's a few of my faves:

    Platoon (1986)
    The Great Raid (2005)
    Mongol (2007)
Carve Her Name With Pride (1958)
    Full Metal Jacket (1987)

    Three Kings (1999)
    Enemy At The Gates (2001)
    Braveheart (1995)
    WarGames (1983)
    Lawrence Of Arabia (1962)
    The Devil's Double (2011)
    Apocalypse Now (1979)
    Rambo (2008)

The one war film i'd love to see remade, is the 1958 movie 'Carve her name with pride.'

I completely forgot about 'Kelly's Heroes', so it'll definitely have to go on my list. Not heard of 'Rescue Dawn', bob, but i'll look it up. Thanks Zeb for mentioning 'The Boys In Company C', i saw it once years ago and have been trying to find out what it was called ever since, and you've uploaded it... nice Yay

When I watched this in theaters I saw an elderly man (whom I knew to have been involved in the Vietnam conflict) break down and cry . . .

What a harsh picture of a reality that I've thankfully never known.

Mel Gibson might be psycho but he is one helluvan actor and Sam Elliot always rules! Such a great movie!

    Wildcard is awesome.
