    Movies: Oscar Nominations 2013
    #1
The 2013 Academy Award nominations have been being announced in Hollywood by actors Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone.

Historical drama Lincoln dominated the shortlist with 12 nominations, but there was a strong showing for Life Of Pi and Silver Linings Playbook.

Bond film Skyfall had been hotly tipped for success, but failed to secure any major nominations. However, Adele's theme tune was listed for best song.

The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre on 24 February.

I thought Naomi Watts was excellent in The Impossible, but I think Den el Washington's finest performance was in The Hurricane (1999). Now I've seen it twice, I've come to the conclusion that Argo sucked balls due to Ben Affleck being a non-entity.

I've never been interested in the Oscars before, but I sure am enjoying watching all these leaked screeners. The Finger to the Man!

I'll give Les Mis a miss. I absolutely, positively despise musicals. Big Grin
