FLAC To MP3 In Bulk
#1
I need to get some discographies converted from FLAC to MP3 and there is a ton of them. Do you guys know of any good batch/bulk converters?

It would be cool if it cool work with ID3 tags for output directory structure and allow me to choose the MP3 settings (I want 320 CBR)

Thanks in advance.

goldwave can easily do it but it's an actual audio editor.

kinda like:
"do you know where i can get a room for the night?"
"sure, there's a 25-bedroom mansion for sale 2 miles down the road."

edit - this might be a better bet: http://download.cnet.com/Free-FLAC-to-MP...06134.html

The 2nd one you linked is the one I wound up using, thanks.

I want something that does a little more than FF2MP3 but a little less than goldwave.

what is it that ff2mp3 doesn't do that you wanted it to do?

FF2MP3 converts automatically to 400-500kbps VBR and I really would like to have the option to convert to 320kbps CBR . . . Also, it doesn't appear to do anything with the ID3 tags (I had to add them with another program) . . . and it outputs either back to the original folder or you have to set one output folder for all the converted files (which means I have to go back and sort them if I convert in bulk) and finally, when I added more than a few albums at a time the program displayed an error and output corrupt MP3s before locking up. Confused

It did the job, but I am just looking for something with more options the next time I convert (about every six months :p )

i was going to recommend xld as it does everything you need, but then i remembered you were a windows user or something... you might want to try dbpoweramp. https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/3621886/...plete_Pack

hey, actually... i'm sure there's a tut on suprbay or something... either way, try modifying the tags with mp3tag http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ first... it just might need to normalize the tags first? either way, when i used windows, i loved that program for editing tags and renaming files.
